1. Your information – If these are personal checks, then this would include your name, address, and phone number. Some check companies will also allow you to put your actual picture on the checks. This just adds an additional level of security to your checks. It would be awfully difficult for someone to write a stolen check that had someone else’s picture on it. For businesses, this would include your business name, address, phone number, fax number, and for some, a web address.
2. Bank information – You will need the name and address of your financial institution.
3. Routing number . Your old checks will have this information printed on them. If you don’t have anymore checks, call your bank. They will be able to give you the routing number.
